A. Hodges

Melford Hodges, 85 of Krugerville on April 5, 2010 at his home. He was born on December 11, 1924 in Coppell to Walter and Claudia (Thompson) Hodges. He married Helen Joyce Ahlfinger on September 10, 1948 in Carrollton. He worked for 24 years for Texas Department of Transportation as a Highway Maintenance Supervisor. He is survived by one daughter, Vickie Hodges of Oak Point; and one son, Gary Hodges of Farmers Branch. He is also survived by one sister, Charlene Cartwright of Gordonville; nine grandchildren, Jenny Bottorff and husband Todd, Jason Garrett and wife JoAnna, Leslie Hodges, Joel Hodges, Wade Hodges, Michella Hodges and Race Hodges; and four great-grandchildren, Hayley Bottorff, Kaleb Bottorff, Ethan Bottorff, and Maddie Hodges; as well as several nieces and nephews.
