FORT WORTH -- Alan Bradley Chinworth, 52, a beloved husband and father, died Wednesday, March 21, 2007. Memorial service: 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 4, in the sanctuary of University Christian Church, 2720 S. University Drive. The Rev. Dr. Alan Lobaugh will officiate. Visitation: Alan's family will receive friends immediately afterward at the church. Memorials: Consideration of contributions to the Fort Worth Civic Orchestra or a charity of choice, in memory of Alan, is suggested. A native and lifelong resident of Fort Worth, Alan was born July 20, 1954, the son of Augustus Jr. and Helen Kunkel Chinworth. He graduated from R.L. Paschal High School before attending Phillips University in Enid, Okla. Alan was an included performer with the Fort Worth Civic Orchestra where he played the timpani. He also served as librarian, stage manager and member of the board of directors. Alan was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Kissman Chinworth, and his father. Survivors: Daughter, Megan Chinworth; mother, Helen Kunkel Chinworth; brothers, Augustus "Trace" Chinworth III and his wife, Sylvia, all of Fort Worth, and Michael W. Chinworth and his wife, Kazue, of McLean, Va.; sister, Susan A. Chinworth and J.C.
