HURST -- A.E. "Tim" Langford, 67, died Sunday, April 8, 2007, at his home. Funeral: A Christian service will be held this Friday at 10 a.m. in Lucas Funeral Home Chapel. A graveside service will follow the funeral and be held at 12:30 p.m. in Bear Creek Cemetery. Visitation: The family will receive friends on Thursday evening, April 12, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Tim was born June 29, 1939, in Clinton, Miss., to Duncan A. Langford and his wife, Evie Lee Langford. Tim grew up in Clinton and graduated from Clinton High School. He married and later relocated to Irving. Tim was employed at Triangle Machine for over 25 years, where he made lifelong friendships. Tim's life was marked by generosity, love, humility and laughter. He always gave to those in need and looked out for widows and orphans who needed a helping hand. Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends. John 15:13. Survivors: His two daughters, Lori Washko and Kristi Cashman; grandchildren, Kennedy, Collin, Cade, Caleb and Cole; brothers, Billy Langford, Ted Langford, Rudy Langford and Richard Langford; sisters, Sandra Langford and Sue Carter. Tim also leaves behind many wonderful friends whom he dearly loved and enjoyed life with. Tim will be greatly missed by all. Blessed are the peacemakers for they will be called sons of God.
