Alice Wayman Elvington, 95, of Pilot Point, died on Wednesday, January 28, 2009 in Pilot Point. She was born on December 21, 1913 in Pilot Point to Isaac Thomas and Laural Ann (Cole) Solomon. She married Rollie H. Elvington on January 6, 1933 in Durant, OK, they were married 50 years and 6 months. She was a homemaker and a member of the Assembly of God Church in Tioga. She is survived by four sons, Bob Elvington of Ector, John Elvington of Burleson, Mac Elvington of Pilot Point and Billy Elvington of Whitesboro, three daughters, Dorothy Shaw of Burleson, Alice Burnett of Pilot Point and Reba Lynch of Pilot Point. She is also survived by twenty seven grandchildren, fifty seven great-grandchildren, and fourteen great-great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, two sons, W.T. (Dub) Elvington and Donald Elvington and two great-grandchildren.
