FORT WORTH -- Alice Larmoyeux Hines died peacefully Wednesday evening, July 15, 2009. She was 78 years old. Funeral: 11 a.m. Tuesday in the chapel at Robertson Mueller Harper. Following committal services, Alice will be laid to rest, with her son, Paul, in Greenwood Memorial Park. Visitation: She will lie in state on Monday at Robertson Mueller Harper where family and friends will be received in the Great Room from 5 to 7 p.m. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, consideration of contributions to Save the Children, Alice's favorite charity, is suggested. Born in Shreveport, La., on Sept. 30, 1930, Jacqueline Alice was the daughter of F.P. and Zoe Marie Stewart Larmoyeux. In Fort Worth, she retired as a secretary for the Department of Human Services. Alice was a longtime volunteer at Harris Methodist Fort Worth and was a very generous, giving person. She was preceded in death by her parents and son, Paul Rowe Hines, who died in 1993. Survivors: In addition to her son, Bradford Hines, Alice is survived by another son, Thomas Stewart Hines; grandchildren, Jennifer Renee', Jonathan Alan and Jeremy Bryan Hines; great-grandchildren, Dallas Quentin Hines, Kyndra Renee' Rahier and Gwendolyn Rose Bagley; sister, JoAnn Larmoyeux Butler; and niece, Paige McPherson and her family.
