NORTH RICHLAND HILLS -- Aline Shivers, entered into rest on Tuesday, July 24, 2012. Services: Funeral Saturday 10:00 am at Smithfield Methodist Church, 6701 Smithfield Road, North Richland Hills. Interment Smithfield Cemetery. Memorials to Cook's Children's Hospital are appreciated. Mrs. Shivers was preceded in death by her husband, John Shivers; her daughter Lyndell Shivers; her parents, Arthur and Alma Bost; her brothers, Euell and A.R. Bost; her sisters, Mary Lee, Helen Dwight, Jackie Tubb and Lorraine Banner. Aline was born in Josephine, Texas, she married John Shivers, who was born on the family homestead in Smithfield in 1909. The Shivers were a pioneer family and their descendants still live on the homestead in North Richland Hills. Survivors: Nephew, L.C. Tubb and his wife Cindy; her great niece, Jodie Flint; her great nephew, Kevin Tubb and their families.
