Alison Voelter Hoffman MANSFIELD -- Alison Voelter Hoffman passed away unexpectedly September 24, 2008, in Mansfield, Texas. Visitation: 2 to 4 p.m., Sunday, September 28, at Blessing Funeral Home, 401 Elm, Mansfield, Texas. Memorial Service: 11am, Tuesday, September 30, Immanuel Lutheran Church, 2109 W. Avenue H, Temple, Texas (254-773-3898) conducted by the Rev. Wilburn Michalk. Alison was born October 13, 1961, in Temple, Texas. She graduated from Temple High School in 1979 and completed her degree in Pharmacy at Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford, Oklahoma, in 1996. She was employed at a Walgreens pharmacy in Mansfield. Alison married Jerry Hoffman on October 7, 2006, at their home in Mansfield. Their beautiful life together here on earth was prematurely interrupted by Alison's untimely passing into eternal life with Jesus Christ, her Lord. All her family and friends are devastated by the tremendous loss of this wonderful person whom they dearly loved.Survivors: Husband, Jerry Hoffman of Mansfield; mother, Marion Mohun and her husband, Richard, of Carrollton; uncle, Bill Voelter, of Abilene; brother, Chuck Voelter, his wife, Cindy, and nephew, Rhett Voelter,of Austin; She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Charlie and Abbie Voelter, Bill and Anna Wayland, and her father, Charles Everett Voelter.
