Allean Uptmor

Allean Mary Uptmor, 78, of Alvarado, Texas, a loving wife, mother and grandmother, passed away Friday, April 3, 2009, in Arlington, Texas. Allean was born on June 13, 1930 in Leroy, Texas to Frank and Lenora Fickey. She retired from Texas Instruments after 30 years of dedicated service. She enjoyed traveling, gardening, and fun trips to the casino. She also loved supporting her grandchildren in all their activities. Allean was preceded in death by daughter, Nancy Uptmor, and son, Norman Uptmor Jr. Survivors include her Husband of 59 years, Norman Uptmor; daughter, Linda Precopia and husband, Steve; son, David Uptmor and wife, Debbie; brother, Tommy Fickey and wife, Darlene; grandchildren, Patricia, Cindy and husband, Eric, Cody, Gina and husband, Matt, Casey and wife, Misty, Kristin and husband, Clayton, Lauren, Cassidy and Zachary; six great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
