EULESS -- Allie Fayda Kent, 86, a loving mother, grandmother, sister and aunt, died peacefully Saturday, Jan. 5, 2008, at a Fort Worth hospital after a lengthy illness. Memorial service: 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Maplewood Baptist Church, 7708 Maplewood Ave., with the Rev. Gary Hopkins officiating. Visitation: The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Lucas Hurst Funeral Home, 1321 Precinct Line Road. Additional services and burial under the direction of the E.E. Stringer Funeral Home in Kirbyville. She was a great lady who was much loved. She will be greatly missed but we know that she is already rejoicing in the presence of Jesus Christ. Mrs. Kent was preceded in death by her son, John Talmage Kent of Kirbyville; her parents, Johnnie Cicero and Bennie Etta Booker; brothers, John Clifton, Jesse Benton and Billy Russell Booker; and sister, Melba Mae Pearson.
