Alta Ferguson

Alta Naama Ferguson, age 86, of Aubrey, passed away Friday, August 22, 2008 at Pilot Point Care Center, She was born August 3, 1922 to Lewis Carl Westcott and Lusetta Cronnin in Plainview, Arkansas.She was married to Cecil Ferguson for 24 years. Alta was a retired sematstress and loved sewing, reading, and traveling. She enjoyed spending time with her family, friends, and neighbors. She is survived by two sons, Gerald LynnPeevey of Aubrey, and James E. Gentry of Oklahoma; two daughters Thelma Jones of Sringtown and Retha Burt of Aubrey; ten grandchildren; and seventeen great grandchildren,seventeen great great grandchildren,and numerous extended family members.She is predeceased in death by her husband, Cecil Ferguson, two sons, Elbert Gentry and Donald Peevey, four grandchildren; four brothers and one sister.
