Altha Richardson

FORT WORTH -- Altha A. Richardson, 94, passed away Thursday, Dec. 24, 2009, at a local hospital.        Funeral: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in Lucas Sylvania Funeral Home Chapel. Interment: Following the service, Altha will be laid to rest in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Fort Worth. Visitation: The family will receive friends 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at Lucas Funeral Home.        Altha was born Jan. 9, 1915, in Springtown to Stillie and Eva Maude Oxford Roberts. She was a member of the Bridgewood Church of Christ.        Altha was preceded in death by her husbands, Oliver Stacy McAlister and Lawrence W. Richardson, and three sisters.        Survivors: Altha is survived by son, Robert O. McAlister and wife, Peggy, of Hico; daughter, Barbara Collier and husband, Fred, of Fulton, Ky.; grandchildren, Greg McAlister, Jeff McAlister, Robert Collier, Kelly Collier, Wesley Collier, Sally Floyd and Mary Lynn Cooley; 12 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
