FORT WORTH -- Alyeene Bryan Bloom, 84, died peacefully Saturday morning, Feb. 17, 2007. Memorial Requiem Eucharist: 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 24, at St. John's Episcopal Church, 2401 College Ave., the Rev. Gayland Pool, celebrant. Burial: Alyeene's cremated remains will be placed in Granbury Cemetery, Granbury. Memorials: Consideration of contributions to a charity of one's choice is suggested. A native of Granbury, Alyeene was born Aug. 12, 1922, the daughter of Hardy Hooker and Frances Almeta Gordon Bryan. She was married to Roy Theodore Bloom, who died in 1981. Alyeene was a resident of Lubbock before moving to Fort Worth where she was a member of St. John's Episcopal Church. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Vicki, and sisters, Mary and Ada Ruth. Survivors: Brother, John H. Bryan of Austin; and nieces and nephews, Tim and Trulia Burcham, Tracy and Patricia Hallock, D.D. and Rachel Shoemaker, John and Darlene Shoemaker and Martin and Joyce Shoemaker, and their families.
