The Goodpasters will receive family and guests 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at the family home in Trophy Club. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be sent in Amy's memory to Teach for America, www.teachforamerica.com. Amy was born in Peru, Ind., to Earl and Charlotte Bennett. Amy received her BA degree in education from Franklin College in Franklin, Ind., and a master's from Indiana State University. Amy was a full-time wife and mom for many years and a talented homemaker, which were her most favorite roles in life. For the last five years, she taught kindergarten at Praire View Elementary in Rhome. Her nurturing way and passion for children was most evident in the classroom. She was loved by her students, parents and co-workers. Her Christian faith was strong, and we know that she is enjoying rocking babies in heaven. Survivors: She was a loving wife, mother and is survived by her husband, Rob; son, Preston, both of Trophy Club; son, Cameron and daughter-in-law, Yadi, of Fort Worth; mother, Charlotte Bohm of Pantego; brother and sister-in-law, Blair and Kim Bennett of Atlanta, Ga. She was a beloved aunt to many nieces and nephews.
