Andy Crabtree

Aubrey, Texas Andy Arthur Crabtree of Aubrey, Texas passed away on Monday, October 10, 2011, at his residence. He was born December 9, 1929 in Platter, Oklahoma to Rubert Crabtree and Rubie Anderson Crabtree. He married Vessie Lee Gadberry who preceded him in death. He worked in the retail area as a maintenance staff member. He is survived by three daughters, Sandra Ann Inge, of McKinney, TX.; Peggy Sue Hankins of Cross Roads, TX,; and Donna Kay Telford of Sherman, TX.; three sons, Andy Glenn Crabtree, of McKinney; Randy Lynn Crabtree, of Sherman, TX,; and Jerry Eugene Crabtree, of Van Alstyne, TX. Thirteen grandchildren and twenty-four great grandchildren also survive Mr. Crabtree. Other survivors include four brothers, R. L. Crabtree, Donald Crabtree, Jimmy Crabtree, Dale Crabtree, plus two sisters, Wilma and Billie. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Joyce Marie Crabtree. Services for Andy Crabtree are scheduled for Friday, October 14, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at Slay Memorial Funeral Chapel in Aubrey, TX. With Earl Akin and Tim Kerrick officiating. Burial will follow at Cottage Hill Cemetery in Celina, TX. The family will host visitation at Slay Memorial Funeral Chapel on Thursday, October 13, 2011 from 6:00 P.M. till 8:00 P.M.
