FORT WORTH -- Ann Fleischmann Lidell, 86, died peacefully Monday morning, Nov. 23, 2009. Service: 11 a.m. Wednesday in Kornbleet Memorial Cemetery Chapel, 411 N. University Drive. Rabbi Alberto "Baruch" Zeilicovich will officiate. Visitation: Family and friends will be received on Wednesday at the residence of Mark and Diane Lidell with Minyan services beginning at 6 p.m. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, consideration of contributions to Congregation Ahavath Sholom or to a charity of one's choice, in Ann's memory, is suggested. A native of Tyler, Ann Henrietta Fleischmann was born March 24, 1923. She was married to Robert Benjamin Lidell, who died in 1997. Ann was a longtime member of Congregation Ahavath Sholom, Hadassah and B'nai B'rith, of which, she was the first advisor to BBG. In her prime, she was an avid bowler and won several tournament titles. Before moving to Houston in the 1970s, Ann was a salesperson for Brown's Shoes. In Houston, she again worked for Brown's. After retiring, she and Mr. Lidell returned to Fort Worth in 1984. Survivors: In addition to her sons, Craig Lidell and his wife, Kara, of Arlington, and Mark Lidell and his wife, Diane, of Fort Worth, Ann is survived by her grandchildren, Jarrett, Tara and Connor Lidell and Matthew Green; great-granddaughter, Maigon Green; sisters, Mary Grodsky of Kansas and Thelma Sobel of Tyler; and several nieces and nephews and their families.
