BEDFORD -- Annie Lee Greene, 90, passed away Saturday, March 17, 2007, at a Grapevine care center. Funeral: 10 a.m. Tuesday at Brown Trail Church of Christ, 1801 Brown Trail, Bedford. Burial: Annie will be laid to rest at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Rule. Visitation: The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Lucas Funeral Home, 1321 Precinct Line Road, Hurst. Memorials: Donations may be made to the Brown Trail School of Preaching, 1801 Brown Trail, Bedford 76021; Truth In Love TV Program, 1801 Brown Trail, Bedford 76021; or Vitas Hospice Care, 1501 Parkview Drive, Suite 600, Fort Worth 76102. Annie Lee Greene, daughter of William Lee and Annie Grace Cannon, was born on Oct. 3, 1916, in Rule. She moved to the Hurst area in 1955 and worked for Worth Supermarkets and Piggly Wiggly food stores until her retirement. Her love for lost souls was evident in her many mission trips to Bermuda and others to Alaska and Wyoming. She was a faithful member of Brown Trail Church of Christ. Survivors: Daughters, Doris Powell and her husband, Carl, Martha Shelley and her husband, Bennie and Peggy Jobe; nine grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
