BEDFORD -- Arden Streeter Wolfe, 78, passed away Saturday, Aug. 21, 2010, at her home surrounded by her loving family. Funeral: 11 a.m. Monday at Lucas Funeral Home in Hurst. Inurnment at a later date in Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, Dallas. Visitation: The family will receive friends 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Arden was a 34-year resident of Bedford. She was a native of Dodge City, Kan., and a descendant of Kansas pioneers. She was a 1949 graduate of Fort Madison High School in Fort Madison, Iowa, and attended the University of Iowa at Iowa City, where she was a member of the Highlanders, the university's all-girl Scottish bagpipe band. Survivors: Husband of 52 years, Earl H. Wolfe; son, Kurt Wolfe of Marietta, Okla., and his wife, Cheryl; daughter, Diane E. Wolfe of Bedford; grandsons, Christopher S. Wolfe and his wife, Kacey, of Euless, Rick L. Wolfe of Tulsa, Okla., Jeffrey Henson and his wife, Jenny, of Ardmore, Okla., and Andy Henson and his wife, Hillary, also of Ardmore; and nine great-grandchildren.
