Arlyn Woods

RICHLAND HILLS -- Arlyn Elizabeth Woods, 98, passed away Saturday, Oct. 16, 2010, at a nursing center in Hurst.        Graveside service: 1 p.m. Wednesday in Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park, 5725 Colleyville Blvd., Colleyville. Father Richard Clark of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church will officiate. Visitation: Arlyn will lie in state noon to 5 p.m. Tuesday at Lucas Funeral Home, 1321 Precinct Line Road, Hurst.        Arlyn was born June 22, 1912, in Henderson. Arlyn was a longtime resident of Alexandria, La., and Richland Hills.        The family offers profound thanks and sincere gratitude to the exceptional staff of Bishop Davies Nursing Center for lovingly providing care and comfort throughout her stay.        Arlyn was preceded in death by her husband, James Woods; daughter, Joan Snyder; and sister, Hazel Green.        Survivors: Son, Lester Woods and wife, Patsy of Arlington; nephew, David Green and wife, Lucille of Missouri City; their daughters, Kristen Green of Missouri City and Cecie Stark and husband, Peter Stark of Robins, Iowa; and their daughter, Katie Stark of Robins, Iowa.
