FORT WORTH -- Audeen Dahle Woodward, a loving mother and grandmother, died peacefully Monday afternoon, Oct. 2, 2006. Memorial service: A private memorial service was held at Trinity Lutheran Church, the Rev. Dr. Ronald K. Heimsoth, pastor of the church, officiating. Memorials: In lieu of usual remembrances, her family suggests consideration of a contribution in memory of Audeen to Central Christian Church, 3205 Hamilton Ave., Fort Worth, Texas 76107; Trinity Lutheran Church, 3621 Tulsa Way, Fort Worth, Texas 76107; or the American Cancer Society. A native of Weston, Idaho, Audeen was born Oct. 18, 1923, the daughter of William A. and Marr Campbell Dahle. She married Leo Jay "Woody" Woodward in 1945. The couple moved to Fort Worth in 1949; Mr. Woodward died in 1997. Audeen was a homemaker who volunteered at church, for the PTA and the Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts. She worked many years at the state office of Christian Churches, where she was assistant to the editor of the paper. Mrs. Woodward was a longtime member of Central Christian Church. In addition to her husband and parents, Audeen was preceded in death by her brother, Jack Dahle. Survivors: Son, Bill Woodward; daughter, Penny Woodward Level and her husband, Jim; granddaughters, Jennifer Level Arroyo and her husband, John, and Paige Level Gasowski and her husband, John; great-grandchildren, Tim and Tyler Arroyo and Anna Gasowski; and sister, Jolene Dahle Brown and her husband, Nolan, and their family.
