FORT WORTH -- Belen Torres Valle, 89, a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, died peacefully Tuesday, Feb. 28, 2006, at her daughter's home. ??? Funeral: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Patrick Cathedral, the Rev. Fr. Robert Strittmatter celebrant. Burial: Following committal prayers, Belen will be laid to rest next to her husband, Jose, in Greenwood Memorial Park. Visitation: She will lie in state Thursday at Lucas Funeral Home, 517 N. Sylvania Ave.; the Holy Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. ??? Bearers of her casket will be John Joseph Valle, Robert Thomas Valle, Gerard Rodriguez, Xavier Rodriguez, Manuel Torres and Steve Gonzales. ??? A native of Villa de Ramos, San Luis Potosi, Mexico, Belen Torres moved to Fort Worth at the age of 3. She married Jose Valle on May 8, 1937. The couple raised 10 children.
