Bennie Hallmark

FORT WORTH -- Ben Hallmark passed away peacefully at his home Tuesday, Aug. 12, 2008.Ben was born April 26, 1933, in Lillian to John and Dona Hallmark. He married his sweetheart, Ann, in 1949. They had two children, Diana Sue and Davie Joe. Ben was devoted to his family and loved family gatherings. He enjoyed helping people in need and was always available to lend a hand. Ben was a district account manager for Ace Hardware Corp. and retired in 1989. Ben was a devoted son, brother, husband and beloved father and grandfather who lived for his loved ones. He was preceded in death by his father, Woodrow Marshall "John" Hallmark; brother, Jimmy Hallmark; sister, Louetia Knotts; and son, Dave Hallmark. Survivors: His wife of 59 years, Ann Hallmark; daughter, Diana Hallmark; mother, Dona Hallmark; sister, Catherine Carr; granddaughters, Christy Vining and husband, Chris, and Laura Hallmark; and many other family members and friends.
