Benny Zumwalt

Ben A. Zumwalt passed away Saturday, July 21, 2007, in Arlington. Service: 10 a.m. Tuesday at Blessing Funeral Home, 401 Elm St., Mansfield. Burial: Everman Cemetery, Everman. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Blessing Funeral Home. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First Baptist Church building fund, 1800 E. Broad, Mansfield 76063. Ben was born on Aug. 21, 1935, in Fort Worth, the son of Clifford and Estelle Zumwalt. He graduated from Technical High School in 1953 and worked for the Army and Air Force Exchange Service for 21 years. Ben was a member of Masonic Lodge 1195 and was a faithful member of First Baptist Church in Mansfield. Ben was preceded in death by his parents and by brother, David Zumwalt. Survivors: Brothers, Ray and wife, Linda Zumwalt of Burleson, Bill and wife, Mary Beth Zumwalt of Temple; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
