Slay Memorial Funeral Center Aubrey, Texas Bernice S. Pickard age 90 passed away Tuesday, March 6, 2012 at her daughter's residence in Krugerville. Bernice was born May 9, 1921 in Blackhawk County, IA to Joseph J. and Katherine Reider Weber. She worked as an executive chef. A visitation will be held Friday, March 9, 2012 from 6:30 - 7:30 p.m. at Slay Memorial Funeral Center in Aubrey, Texas. Burial will be Tuesday, March 13, 2012 in Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Rowland Heights, CA. Bernice is survived by one daughter, Paula Payne of Krugerville and was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Keifer. Service arrangements are under the direction of Terri Slay and the staff of Slay Memorial Funeral Center in Aubrey, TX.
