MANSFIELD -- Betty Lou Fields, 73, passed away Sunday, Jan. 4, 2009, in Mansfield. Service: 2 p.m. Wednesday at Blessing Colonial Chapel in Mansfield. Interment: Mansfield Cemetery. Visitation: 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Betty was born Sept. 29, 1935, in Palo Pinto to James Willis and Willie Augusta Walker, Ratliff. She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Dan Wesley Fields. Survivors: Children, Catherine Harris and husband, Joe, of Mansfield, Wesley Fields and wife, Rosie, of Mansfield, Kathleen Cloyd of Mineral Wells and Donald Fields and wife, Joann, of Fort Worth; grandchildren, James Wooten and wife, Melisa, of Mansfield, Adam Jordan of Puerto Rico, Chad Jordan and wife, Cody, of Mineral Wells, Angela Shaver and husband, Daymon, of Midlothian, and Jena Fields of Mineral Wells, Mirande Burnet and Jacob Fields of Kansas; eight great-grandchildren; sister, Bertha West of Mineral Wells; brother, J.L. Ratliff of Arkansas; and numerous nieces and nephews.
