Pilot Point - Betty Lorine (Redfearn) Jenkins, 75 of Pilot Point, formerly of Joshua died on Sunday, May 23, 2010 at Countryside Nursing and Rehab in Pilot Point. She was born on May 21, 1935 in Aubrey to Deck and Vernie (Hendrick) Redfearn. On June 5, 1952 she married Billy Gene Jenkins in Aubrey. She attended schools in Spring Hill, Aubrey and Pilot Point. She was a member of Antioch Baptist Church for many years and Aubrey First Baptist Church, where she was pianist for many years since age 14. She was presently a member of Mount Carmel Baptist Church of Cleburne. She is survived by six daughters, Jeanie Jenkins of Pilot Point, Dr. Jackie Jenkins of Pilot Point, Sherry Dunn of Burleson, Gwyn Davis of Pilot Point, Teresa Brooks of Joshua, and Lowaine Marks of Grand Junction, CO, and one son, Billy Jenkins of North Richland Hills. She is also survived by four brothers, Howard Redfearn, Bobby Redfearn, Dale Redfearn, Joe Redfearn and one beloved sister, Ruth Doherty, all of Aubrey, as well as 15 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Billy Gene Jenkins, two brothers, Thurman Doyle Redfearn and Glen Redfearn and one grandson, Jason Rattan.
