FORT WORTH -- Betty Bicknell Jones, 82, passed away Tuesday, April 28, 2009, surrounded by her loving family. Celebration of life: 2 p.m. Friday at Lucas Funeral Home, 1321 Precinct Line Road in Hurst. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or a favorite charity. Betty was born Sept. 28, 1926, in Bailey. She married Harry E. Jones on Sept. 7, 1947; they were married over 58 years. She loved life, people, flowers and art. Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Harry, and one brother, Jimmy Bicknell. Survivors: Son, Hank Jones and his wife, Kathy; daughter, Jennifer Rosenberg and her husband, Bill; brothers, Jack Bicknell and Bill Bicknell; sisters, Sybil Henson and Jean Hyden; grandchildren, Michael and Melissa Jones and Jordan and Alex Ford; and a host of loving friends.
