Betty McGuire

Betty was born April 6, 1930, in Winnsboro to Roland A. Butler and Sybil Craddock Butler. She traveled with her family during World War II, residing in various posts in Texas but graduated from Winnsboro, which she always considered home. Betty then traveled to many other destinations with her husband, who was employed in the oil industry. Betty spent several years in Midland and Denver, Colo., developing lifelong friendships.        Betty was preceded in death by her husband, John H. McGuire.        Survivors: Son, Mike McGuire and wife, Angela, of Grapevine; grandchildren, Hunter, Devin and Michaela; brother, Bill Butler of Alvin; and sisters, Sue Parson of Irving and Janet Pasley of Paris, Texas.
