Betty Ware

HURST -- Betty Jo Ware, 75 went to be with the Lord Monday, Aug. 20, 2007. Funeral: 10 a.m. Wednesday, St. Matthew United Methodist Church, 2414 Hitson Lane, Fort Worth. Burial: will follow in Shannon Rose Hill Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Lucas Hurst Funeral Home. Betty was born Dec. 14, 1931, in Clinton, Okla., and moved to Hurst in November 1965. She was a dedicated Christian, wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Betty was always there for family and friends in their times of need. She never met a stranger in her life here on earth. She will always be remembered for her laughter and kindness. The family gives their thanks to Judy Goldthrop and all the Vitas Hospice caregivers. Betty was preceded in death by her parents and grandson, Troy Taylor Jr. Survivors: Her husband, J.K. Ware; daughters, Sheila Taylor and husband, DeWayne, Cindy Wheeler and husband, Bill; grandchildren, Mary, Corina, Robby, Clint, Katina, Vanessa, Lindsey, Ty and Danny Jr; 13 great-grandchildren; sister, Jackie Jones; many nieces and nephews.
