RICHLAND HILLS -- Willess Vincent went to be with his Lord on Tuesday, Dec. 7, 2010. Funeral: Noon Friday in the chapel of Hills Church of Christ (formerly Richland Hills Church of Christ). Interment: 3 p.m. Friday in Laurel Land Memorial Park in Dallas. Visitation: The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Lucas Funeral Home, 1321 Precinct Line Road, Hurst. Family and Friends will gather at the Church at 10 a.m. and are invited to lunch at 11 a.m. Willess was a member of Northeast Optimist Club. He was a Volunteer of the year in Richland Hills and was a sponsor of Junior Achievement. He retired from Southwestern Bell after 40 years of service. He volunteered in the pantry at Richland Hills Church of Christ. Willess was a charter member of Richland Hills Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his wife of 73 years, Mary Edith Vincent. Survivors: His children, Dorothy Hamblett, Bill Vincent and his wife, Pat, Sue Peterson and her husband, Logan, Pamela Keith and her husband, Larry; 13 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; 14 great-great-grandchildren; and his sister, Clara Fay Cobb.
