Billie Helm

Kennedale - Billie Faye Trotter Helm, 81, a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and homemaker went to be with the Lord Monday, May 31, 2010. Billie was born in Marlow, OK April 14, 1929, the daughter of Amos and Ethel Neighbors Trotter.  She married W.C. "Buddy" Helm Jr. in Fort Worth on Dec. 19, 1946.  Mrs. Helm was a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a Sunday school teacher for over 40 years and a member of WMU. She wrote and published many short stories. Billie was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Buddy Helm; son, David Earl Helm, who died in Vietnam on Nov. 10, 1967; brothers, Hoy and Garland Trotter; and sister, Ola Mae Stokes. Survivors include her Son, Derrell Helm and wife, Peggy; daughter, Nancy Bell and husband, James; grandchildren, Bart Bell and wife, Mendy, Wesley Bell and wife Alicia, Brian Helm and wife, Shelby, Lisa Helm and Kimberly Carter and husband, Josh; great grandchildren, Megan, Haley, Hannah, Amber, Alizabeth and Stephanie Bell, McKenzi and Kylie Carter, Lilian and Jaxon Helm; brother, M.C.
