Billie Johnson

FORT WORTH -- Billie Irene Johnson, 77, passed away Monday, Sept. 12, 2011, peacefully at her home.        Service: 11 a.m. Friday at Faith Community Church, 111 Boland St., Fort Worth. Interment: Shannon Rose Hill Memorial Park. Visitation: 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at the church.        Memorials: In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Faith Community Church.        Billie was born Nov. 28, 1933, in Eastland to Dennis and Gladys Farr and Ed and Ellah Rosenquest. She graduated from North Texas State with a degree in medical technology and worked in the medical field for 50 years. After retiring, she served as a volunteer in the community helping at West-Aid Food Bank, Vitas Hospice and was an active member of Faith Community Church.        She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Johnson.        Survivors: Sons, Kirk and Eva Johnson of Katy and Robert and Marta Johnson of Fort Worth; daughter, Charlotte Pickett and husband, David, of Round Rock; grandchildren, Sarah and Mike Harrington, Ben and Tiffani Johnson, Emily Johnson and Jaclyn and Katherine Bravo, all of Katy, Ryan Johnson and Alexandra Johnson of Fort Worth and LeeAnn Pickett and Kelli Pickett of Round Rock; and great-grandchildren, Tyler, Tanner, Anna Harrington and Rileigh Johnson.
