BEDFORD -- Bobby George Jones Sr. passed away Saturday, Sept. 8, 2007, in Bedford, at the age of 70. Funeral: 11 a.m. Thursday at Lucas Funeral Home, 1321 Precinct Line Road in Hurst. Burial: (with full military honors) 1 p.m. Thursday in Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery in Dallas. Visitation: The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Bobby was born Nov. 8, 1936, in Gladewater. He was retired from the military and was a postal clerk. Survivors: Loving wife, Oleta Elizabeth Jones of Bedford; son, Bobby George Jones Jr. of Bedford; daughter, Teresa Lynne Jones Rowan of Azle; brothers, Welton Jones and wife, Vickie of Gladewater, Jack Jones and wife, Jeannie of Kilgore; grandchildren, Randi and Jonathon Subia of San Marcos, Teri Rowan of San Marcos, Christina and B.J. Mason of Weatherford, Megan and Brittany Jones of Coweta, Okla.; great-grandchildren, Jayden and Jonah Mason of Weatherford, Braylon Gage Subia of San Marcos; and a multitude of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
