Bobby Todd

MANSFIELD -- Bobby Jack Todd, affectionately known by all who knew him as "Grandaddy", and to his great-grandchildren as "Dori", passed from this life to be with the Lord Saturday night, July 30, 2011. Funeral Service: 11 a.m., Tuesday at Park Springs Bible Church, Arlington. Visitation: 6 to 9 p.m., Monday at Blessing Funeral Home, Mansfield. Memorials: Please consider a memorial to Park Springs Bible Church, 5515 Park Springs Blvd., Arlington 76017, in lieu of flowers. He and Betty, his wife of 64 years, were long time residents of Mansfield. Bobby was born June 10, 1928 in Cedar Grove, Louisiana. He grew up in Denison, attended high school there and went to Austin College in Sherman. He served the Army during the Korean War and was a member of the Masons and American Legion. He spent 35 years with Southwestern Bell Telephone Company and then as an entrepreneur founding Todd Enterprises Self Storage Company. Bobby is a member of Park Springs Bible Church in Arlington. Survivors: Wife, Betty; son, Stephen; grandchildren, Christopher Todd, Karen Todd, Kacy Todd, Stephanie Todd, Amanda McCullough and Lisa Flesch; great-grandchildren, Kyler, Caysen, Xander, Kate and Leo.
