RIVER OAKS -- Bonita "Johnnie" Hendrix passed away Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2007. Graveside service: 3 p.m. Friday in Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation: The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. at Lucas Funeral Home, 517 N. Sylvania. Memorials: You may honor her memory with a memorial to the Parkinson Disease Foundation or a charity of your choice. She was an avid bowler and went to many national bowling conventions. Johnnie was loved by many neighbors, friends and caregivers which allowed her to remain in her home for a longer period of time than she would have normally been able to. She retired from the Fort Worth Star-Telegram after more than 30 years of service. She was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Guy, who passed away in 1992; her parents, Lillie and Ollie H. Bailey Sr.; sister, Olena Rancy; and her brother, O.H.
