Bonnie Lynn Bennett, a loving wife, mother, aunt, and friend passed away Saturday, September 16, 2006 at home. Bonnie was born in Memphis, MO. After graduation from Memphis High School, she moved to Des Moines, Iowa where she met and married her husband, Jerry Bennett. They shared their lives for over 27 years. The couple moved to Roanoke, TX in 1986 where they raised two boys, Larry and Jerrod. She was a dedicated wife, mother, and friend. She would go out of her way to help the people she cared about. She loved to entertain friends and family on her patio. She also enjoyed her pets, plants and flowers; and there wasnt a lady on the planet who loved to mow her lawn more than Bonnie. She was a person who truly loved her life. Her husband often said They didnt do half bad for a couple of farm kids. She loved her life. Bonnie was preceded in death by her brother, Larry Eugene Garr of Memphis, MO. She leaves behind her husband, Jerry Bennett; her sons, Larry and Jerrod, her dogs, Kiwi and Toto, her cats, Gus Gus and El Gotto of Roanoke, TX; her parents Doyle and Helen Garr of Memphis, MO; her sister Donna Banks and her husband Fred of Norwalk, IA; her sister Marilyn Boone and her husband Dan and their sons Brandon and Daniel of Memphis, MO; her nephew Jeff Banks and his wife Sandra and their children Ryan and Caitlin of St. Marys, GA; her niece Stacie Dearing and her husband Tom and their daughter Sadie Rose of Ponder, TX; and her niece Tiffanie Podhajsky, and her sons Dylan and Derek of Des Moines, IA; along with numerous close dedicated friends. A service is planned for Thursday evening 9-21-06 in Keller, TX and another service will be held in Memphis, MO on Tuesday, 9-26-06 with interment in the Memphis Cemetery. Arrangements in Memphis are by Payne Funeral Home, Madison St., Memphis, MO 63555, phone 660-465-7135.
