FORT WORTH -- Brenda Cecile Griffin was called home to her Lord on Friday, Feb. 19, 2010.        Funeral: A celebration of Brenda's life will be at 3 p.m. Thursday at Covenant Church, 3508 Glade Road, Colleyville. Reception: The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Lucas Funeral Home, 1321 Precinct Line, Hurst.        Memorials: To honor Brenda's memory, the family requests that donations be made to a favorite charity in her name in lieu of flowers.        Brenda was born in Fort Worth on Nov. 23, 1955, to the late Margie Davis and M.L. "Griff" Griffin. Brenda was active in the children's ministries at Covenant Church in Colleyville and loved her church family there. She gave selflessly to others and quietly and faithfully supported numerous causes and charities. Brenda was a 1974 graduate of Haltom High School and had enjoyed reconnecting with classmates in recent months.
