Bryan K. Biesterveld

RHOME -- Bryan K. Biesterveld, 54, passed away Tuesday, August 26, 2014 at a local hospital. Celebration of Life: 3:00 Saturday, September 6, 2014 at Lucas Funeral Home, 1321 Precinct Line Road in Hurst. Memorials may be made in lieu of flowers to the American Heart Association. Bryan was born December 2, 1959 in Albuquerque, New Mexico to John Biesterveld and Verona Leland Biesterveld. Bryan was employed with Exelon Corporation and had worked in the energy business for 33 years. He moved to Texas in 1979. In his free time, he enjoyed riding his motorcycle, traveling, camping, swimming and wood working in his shop. He was a loving and devoted son, husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He also loved his dogs. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Bryan was preceded in death by his father, John Biesterveld' Survivors: Wife of 25 years, Tanya Biesterveld; son, Kenneth Biesterveld; daughters, Tamara Kirshbaum and Devon Biesterveld; brother, John Biesterveld; sisters, Pam Lyyski, Paula Schneider, Loquita Traylor, Jean Cansler and Twila Traylor; mother, Verona Biesterveld; grandchildren, Raven Kirschbaum, Sebastian Rushing, Anna and Beau Biesterveld; and numerous nieces and nephews and many dear friends.
