Caleb Hays

MANSFIELD -- Caleb Hays, 9, God's blessing to all who knew him, went to be with Jesus on Saturday, Dec. 29, 2007. Service: 2 p.m. Tuesday at St. John Lutheran Church, 1218 E. Debbie Lane in Mansfield. Visitation: The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at Blessing Funeral Home, 401 Elm St. in Mansfield. Memorials: To honor Caleb's memory the family requests memorials to the Caleb Hays Memorial Fund, in care of St. John Lutheran Church. He was a lover of the outdoors, animals and made friends of young and old wherever he went. Survivors: Parents, Jerry and Gretchen Hays; brother, Noah; grandfather, Gary Ahlbrand and his wife, Jeanie; uncles and aunts, Joel and Pat Hays, Dr. Scott and Katherine Ahlbrand; aunt, Emma Ahlbrand; and other great-aunts, uncles and cousins.
