CROWLEY -- Calvin Meredith Williams, 78, a loving, caring husband, father, stepfather and grandfather, died peacefully Wednesday evening, Nov. 28, 2007, of complications from ongoing health issues. Funeral: Services and interment will be held in Aurora, Colo. A memorial service was held Saturday at McKinney Fellowship Bible Church in McKinney. Calvin was born and graduated from high school in Sherman. He entered the U.S. Navy and served as a machinist mate number 1 during the Korean War. After receiving a honorable discharge, he attended technical training and began a career as a machinist. Calvin and Margaret Ann Beaty were married from 1950 until her death in 1994. They resided in Aurora, Colo., where they raised their three sons, Robert, David and Steven. In 2000, he returned to Texas and married Betty Gregory in 2002. She survives him.
