Candido Armenteros

KELLER -- Candido Isidoro Armenteros, 74, passed away Thursday, Dec. 29, 2011, at an area hospital. Holy Rosary will be recited Monday at 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. Memorials: The family respectfully invites friends who desire to honor Candido's memory with gifts in his name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Candido was a loving husband, father and grandfather who lived life to its fullest. Candido was born Feb. 2, 1937, in Cienfuegos, Cuba, to Isidoro and Amparo Santana Armenteros. His parents preceded him in death. He was proud to be a master Mason and was a member of Masonic Lodge Orfelo Cardenas, Cuba, and Masonic Lodge 473 in White Plains, N.Y. Survivors: Wife, Juana E. Armenteros; son, Efrain I. Armenteros; daughter, Ester A. Tarifa and husband, Domingo; grandchildren, Griselle M. Tarifa, Daniel D. Tarifa, Matthew Tarifa, Christian Armenteros, Dylan Armenteros, Zoelys Armenteros; three great-grandchildren; and sister, Martha Armenteros.
