ALVARADO -- Carl M. Emrick, 71, passed away Saturday, Oct. 25, 2008, in Alvarado. Funeral: Noon Thursday in Blessing Colonial Chapel in Mansfield. Interment: 2:30 p.m. Thursday in Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Carl was born Oct. 7, 1937, in Parkersburg, W.Va., to Carl Homer and Mildred Berdena Dickson Emrick. Till we see you again, we love you, Dad! Gone but not forgotten, we love you, PaPaw! He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and one sister. Survivors: Wife of 31 years, Linda Emrick of Alvarado; sons, Roger Emrick and wife, Mary, of Skipperville, Alab., Lynn Richardson and wife, Kim, of Austin and Monty Richardson and wife, B.J., of Cleburne; daughter, Leslie Hart and husband, Forrest, of Alvarado; 14 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; 4 sisters; and numerous nieces and nephews.
