Carol Courtney Praytor

Carol Courtney Praytor, 72, went to be with her Lord and savior on March 29, 2015 in Bedford. Service: 11 a.m. Wednesday at Lucas Funeral Home in Grapevine. Visitation: The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Carol was born on February 7, 1943 to Jack and Martha Courtney in Houston. She was supremely dedicated to her family, especially her grandsons. Carol was always for spoiling them and loved every minute of it. She will be dearly missed. Carol was preceded in passing by her devoted husband of 46 years, Ronald Praytor; her parents; and her brother, David Courtney. Survivors: She is survived by her daughter, Shari Thurman and husband, Michael; son, Scott Praytor; grandsons, Tyler Thurman and Brandon Thurman; brothers, Jerry Courtney and wife, Kay, and James Courtney and wife, Carol; sister-in-law, Jean Courtney; and many loving family and friends.
