Catalina was born in Santiago de Cuba in Cuba, where she was Miss Cuba 1945 at Varadero Beach, Cuba. She always stated: "Time destroys beauty, but what you have in your heart no one can take away." She was a member of St. Patrick's Cathedral, member of TOPS (Take Off Pounds Sensibly), member of COPs (Citizens On Patrol Fort Worth PD), parliamentarian for Carter-Riverside Neighborhood Association and a member of Fort Worth Republican Women. She was preceded in death by her husband, Armando Aladro. The family would like to thank family and friends for their constant love and support. Survivors: Raffy Aladro, Bill Tymel, Agnes "Aggie" Aladro and Bryan Dunn, all of Fort Worth; grandchild, Kaelina Marie Aladro Dunn; and extended family, Carmelina and Mirriam De La Maza of San Antonio.
