BURLESON -- Charles Lucky Allen, Jr., 53, passed away, Wednesday, April 15, 2009 surrounded by his loving family. Memorial: 10 a.m., Monday at Bethesda Baptist, 100 W Bethesda Rd, Burleson, Texas 76028. Visitation: 2 to 4 Sunday at 7704 Oak Parkway, Burleson, at the home of Phyllis and Larry Slatton. Lucky was born July 9, 1955 in Ft. Worth to Charles Lucky Allen, Sr. and Madie O'Rear Allen. Lucky was a brickmason following the path of his father. He later retired from the Federal Bureau of Prisons after many years of service. Lucky is preceded in death by his parents. Survivors: Soulmate, Marion Knaus; daughters, Jennifer Morris and husband, Jason, Erin, Carra and Jessica Allen; grandchildren, Haley, Blane and Hunter; sister, Phyllis Slatton and husband, Larry; and numerous friends and family.
