Charles "Chuck" John Keim, 88, passed away Friday, May 10, 2013. Funeral: 10 a.m. Monday at Lucas Funeral Home in Hurst. Interment: Greenwood Memorial Park in Fort Worth. Chuck was born in New York City, N.Y., on March 29, 1925. At the age of 17 he joined the Navy during World War II. After the war, Chuck was a ballroom dance instructor for Fred Astaire and Arthur Murray Dance studios. In 1966 he married Peggy Christopher of Fort Worth. Both were avid dancers and eventually opened their own dance studio. Survivors: Chuck is survived by his wife of 46 years, Peggy; daughter, Terrie Talbert; son, Kevin Keim; sister, Mary Carlson; brothers, George and Arthur Keim; as well as many grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
