Charles Everett Schneider

FORT WORTH -- Charles Everett Schneider, 88, passed away Monday, June 3, 2013. Funeral: 10 a.m. Friday at Lucas Funeral Home, 1321 Precinct Line Road in Hurst. Interment: 2 p.m. in Waco Memorial Park. Visitation: The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. His grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Honorary will be co-workers and friends from Missouri Pacific Railroad. Charles was born to Mary M. and Edward H. Schneider on July 16, 1924, in Mart. He married Ann Regina Horak in 1948 and remained with her until his passing. After completing his high school education, Charles was a Navy combat veteran of World War II. After that he began his career in the railroad with Missouri Pacific Railroad, along with a few years working at General Tire and Rubber Co. in Waco. Charles retired in 1989 after an extended career with the railroad and enjoyed a long retirement until his passing. Charles was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and six sisters. Survivors: Wife, Ann; children, Audrey and husband, Eddie, and Chuck and wife, Linda; grandchildren, Chris and wife, Lauren, Steve and wife, Michele, Bobby and wife, Christine, and Romy and husband, John, and Victoria; and great-grandchildren, Cole, Emerald, Gabriel, Nathaniel, Katelynn, Bobby Jr., Emily, David, Amanda and Evelyn.
