Charles Williams

BURLESON -- Charles Allen Williams went home Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2010, surrounded by his family. Service: 10 a.m. Saturday in Blessing Colonial Chapel in Mansfield. Interment: private. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Charles trained horses until he retired 15 years ago and then raised border collies and stock dogs. One of his greatest enjoyments in his later years was watching his dogs in field trials and competition and raising puppies. His greatest love was his family and friends. Charles was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Helen Russell Williams, on May 3, 2008. Survivors: Children, Kirby and Linda Williams, Shawn and Leigh Williams and Lari and Ross Churman; grandchildren, Sloan and Sarah, Kase and Amanda, Colbi, Kaden and Brinkley; great- grandchildren, Olivia, Zach, and two on the way.
