CORPUS CHRISTI -- Charles L. Wilson, 75, unexpectedly passed away Tuesday, April 28, 2009, at a local hospital. Funeral: 10 a.m. Friday at Lucas Hurst Funeral Home, 1321 Precinct Line Road, Hurst, with the Rev. Lawrence Hammond officiating. Interment: 12:30 p.m. in Chico Cemetery, Chico. Visitation: The family will receive friends Thursday 6 to 8 p.m. at Lucas Hurst Funeral Home. Memorials: Donations in his name to honor his memory may be made to the American Heart Association or a charity of choice. Charles was born Oct. 1, 1933, in Bridgeport and lived in Chico until he went to work for Armour & Co. in Fort Worth. In 1954 he and his wife, Sue, moved to Corpus Christi with Armour & Co. He was in sales for his entire career spanning 50 years. He was active in the community and volunteered for the Corpus Christi Chapter for Organ Donations.
