HURST -- Charles Windel Zuber, 86, passed away Thursday, May 24, 2012. Funeral: 2 p.m. Saturday at Lucas Funeral Home. Interment: Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park, Colleyville. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the American Heart Association, www.heart.org Charles proudly served his country during World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps. He then went to work in 1947 for the U.S. Postal Service and retired in 1980. Survivors: His wife of 65 years, Geneva Zuber; daughters, Wanda Kirk and Sharon Carter and husband, Joe; sons, Windel Zuber and wife, Linda, Rick Zuber and Kirk Zuber; 10 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
