KELLER -- Cherylyn Sue Wyatt Snarr, beloved mother, wife and friend, passed away Monday, Aug. 9, 2010, at her home in Keller with family and friends by her side. Funeral: 10 a.m. Friday at Lucas Funeral Home, 137 E. Hill St., Keller, with Brother Danny Woods officiating. Interment: She will be buried at 1:30 p.m. Friday in Able Cemetery overlooking the Red River. Visitation: The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Lucas Keller Funeral Home. Memorials: If desired, donations may be made in her name to Susan G. Komen Foundation, West Sherman Baptist Church or The Wounded Warrior Project. She was born in Gainesville on March 2, 1956, and was blessed to become the daughter of Leta Muriel and Daryl G. Wyatt, who preceded her in death. She was a member of West Sherman Baptist Church and a graduate of Sherman High School. Cheryl was a member of the SHS Marching Band and enjoyed all outdoor activities, especially horseback riding, camping, gardening and hiking. She loved spending time with her family and beloved pets. Cheryl will be greatly missed by her family and many friends who loved her dearly. Survivors: Husband, Capt. John W. Snarr; daughter, Jessica May Gardner and son-in-law, JB Gardner, of Arlington; sons, Alan Wyatt May of Sherman, Travis Ryan Snarr and Benjamin Richard Snarr of the home; grandchildren, Wyatt Gardner and Jordin Gardner; sisters, Beth Holbert and Diane Morrison; and many nieces and nephews.
